4th of July Fireworks Safety
- Obey all local laws.
- A responsible adult should supervise children using sparklers or other types of handheld fireworks.
- Use ALL fireworks outdoors and at a safe distance from your home’s exterior.
- Do not “experiment” or mix fireworks together.
- Light only one firework at a time.
- Shoot fireworks away from people and your home in a safe direction.
- Wear protective eye gear when igniting and using fireworks which shoot off.
- Don’t relight a “dud” firework.
- Never drink and play with fireworks.
- Dispose of your used fireworks by first wetting them down and then disposing them in a can away from materials which may be combustible.
