We’re already nearly a month into spring. It wasn’t that long ago that your family had to rely on your furnace or boiler for warm, toasty comfort on cold winter days. Well, cold weather will be back sooner than we might expect, and when it returns, a functioning heating system will again be a must-have. No matter where you live or what time of year it is, it’s never a bad time to think about keeping your home’s HVAC system in good repair.
When Joyce W.’s home wasn’t staying at a consistent temperature, she knew to give us a call. This Massachusetts resident is enrolled in our Heating Repair Plan. She double-checked the temperature on her thermostat to be sure it was properly set (it was), and to make sure it wasn’t accidentally switched from “HEAT” to “COOL” or “OFF” (which happens way more often than you’d think).
We dispatched an experienced technician from our service provider network in West Springfield, Mass., to assist this longtime customer with her heating system problem.
“The crew realized there were several issues with my [boiler]; there was a leaky pressure relief valve, the pressure intake valve was stuck, and there was air in my circulated hot water system. They drained the system, replaced both valves, and installed a new tank. They checked both thermostats and replaced the batteries,” said this satisfied customer about her recent experience with us.
Joyce went on to say, “Because of my plan, I received $400 credit towards the total cost of labor and parts. The crew was here for 5 hours and solved many long-standing problems with my [boiler]. They also resolved an electrical issue with my two-zone system that I paid for separately. I am very satisfied with the service and the coverage under my plan!”
