Q: How do I make a claim?

A: As soon as you notice a leak, notify Oncourse and request a claim form. With 30 days of receiving it, complete the claim form and return it with a copy of your qualified service provider’s invoice, along with photographic or video evidence of the leak as captured by the qualified service professional. We’ll review the claim, and if it’s approved, we’ll reimburse you for up to $1,000 per annual term for the diagnostic and repair costs you incurred.

Q: What will happen at the end of my term?

A: The protection plan is for a 12-month term that will automatically renew on an annual basis at then-current rates. You can cancel at any time by calling Oncourse.

Q: What specifically is covered by the plan?

A: The Roof Leak Protection Plan covers repairs to the roof over the occupied living area of your home. If your roof suffers a covered water leak because of rain and/or normal wear and deterioration, Oncourse offers a simple claim process with reimbursement of up to $1,000 per annual term for the costs of diagnosis and repairs performed by a qualified service provider. The plan does not include coverage for your detached garage or any other detached structure located on your property. If replacement of the existing roof, in whole or in part, is necessary, Oncourse will only reimburse you for the estimated cost to repair the leaking portion of your roof.

Q: When does coverage begin?

A: Your enrollment starts on the date Oncourse processes your application, which is the Commencement Date listed in your welcome letter. Protection and the ability to file a claim will begin 30 days later. Pre-existing conditions are not covered, and your roof must watertight and in good condition as of the date your protection becomes effective.
